Terms & Music Rights

1. What you're ordering

When you commission a song from Wind Of The Eagle Music Productions, you are purchasing the creation of an original piece of music composed specifically from the information you provide. Each song is written from scratch — original melody, original lyrics, original arrangement.

2. Music rights & copyright

Wind Of The Eagle Music Productions retains full copyright ownership of the musical composition, melody, and recording. This includes the right to use the composition in our portfolio, for demonstration purposes, or as reference in our own promotional materials — though we will never use your personal story or identifying information in such use.

You receive a personal use license upon delivery of your song. This license grants you the right to:

• Play the song at private ceremonies, memorial services, weddings, and gatherings
• Share the song privately with family and friends
• Keep and archive the song for personal use indefinitely
• Post the song to personal social media in a non-commercial context

The personal use license does not include:

• Commercial use, licensing, or sale of the song or any portion of it
• Public broadcast, radio, streaming platform monetization, or sync licensing
• Use in advertising, film, television, or commercial video without prior written agreement

If you need a broader license — for a film, a public performance, or commercial use — contact us at hello@windoftheeagle.com before or after ordering. We're open to discussing expanded licensing on a case-by-case basis.

3. Privacy & your story

The personal information you share in your order — names, relationships, memories, poems, stories — is used solely to write your song. We do not sell, share, disclose, or otherwise distribute your personal details or story to any third party.

We may keep internal records of orders for quality and accounting purposes. These records are not shared externally and are not used for marketing without your consent.

4. Revisions

Every order includes two free rounds of revisions after initial delivery. A revision round is your opportunity to request changes to lyrics, melody, tempo, style, or arrangement. Revisions must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included two may be available for a fee — contact us to discuss.

5. Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with your song after both revision rounds, we will refund you in full — no questions, no negotiation. We stand behind our work.

If you wish to cancel before your song has been written, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have already entered production may be subject to a partial fulfillment fee. Orders that have been completed and delivered are eligible for a full refund only after both revision rounds have been offered and used.

6. Rush delivery

Rush Delivery is an additional $75 and guarantees a turnaround of 3–5 business days. Rush requests are subject to availability. If we cannot meet your rush timeline, the rush fee will be refunded. Standard delivery times still apply for refund eligibility.

7. Delivery & format

Songs are delivered digitally as MP3 and WAV audio files via email. It is your responsibility to download and back up your files. We are not responsible for files lost due to email filtering, expired links, or device failure after delivery.

If you do not receive your delivery email, contact us and we will resend promptly.

8. Limitations

We cannot guarantee that your song will be liked or emotionally received in the way you hope — music is personal, and responses vary. We do guarantee that it will be original, thoughtfully composed, and revised until it is as right as we can make it.

Wind Of The Eagle Music Productions is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
